We started November month as every year with fireworks to celebrate Guy Fawkes night. This year, we went with one of Arthur's friend from nursery and it was pretty cool. The children were astonished by the fireworks. The year before they were both really scared
We finished the evening by going in a fire engine which was there for the show. The children were pretty excited by that too.

The following weekend, we had the great pleasure to have Mark and Emily and their three children, Evie (4 years old), Harry (almost 3) and Freddie (8 months old). Emily used to work with me at Oxford Biomedica and moved to Cambridge when I was pregnant of Arthur. We tried to see each other regularly but it was 20 months we hadn't seen each other. So we met little Freddie for the first time.

November is also know as Movember, a charity event to fight Prostate Cancer. Marc as every year for the past three years, shaves and grows a goatee to collect some money. But this year he decided to grow the moustache only:

He managed to get a good little amount of money (if you want to sponsor him it is not too late : sponsor Marc), but now that we are in December I was hoping for the moustache to go and the goatee to reappear, but this is not the case. I think he should be sponsored to be shaved!!!
And during that time in Strasbourg, my best friend Aurélie was giving birth to her first son, Edgar: 4.760 kg, 57 cm. Record to be challenged.
