One year exactly, already!

There was exactly one year ago, I was waking up with some contractions.
After breakfast, Marc went with my mum to listen a concert in Oxford in the first concert hall built in Europe.
I watched Toy Story (1 or 2, I don't remember) with Arthur.
Around lunch time, Marc calls to see how I am doing and I tell him that it is for today, but he doesn't have to rush to come back.
I cook lunch, I feed Arthur, they come back, we start calculating my contractions: every 6 minutes for 45 seconds.
I put Arthur down for a nap, I take a shower: every 3 minutes for 45 seconds.
After my shower, I call the maternity ward. With the midwife, we talk about my contractions, my labour with Arthur... She tells me to stay home and to call her when I wish to come.
So I take a book of Sudoku and relax in the conservatory, nothing anymore: every 10 minutes for 20 seconds.
Time goes and labour doesn't want to start.
Around 5pm, I fall asleep in the living room, for 1h. When I wake up, I am fed up and bored so I start tidying up some cloths. Suddenly, it comes back: every 7 minutes for 30 seconds.
I understand that I have to be active for labour to keep going, so we decide that after putting Arthur to bed, we will have a walk around the block.
8pm: walk. 8.30pm: departure for the maternity ward.
The late night shift midwife arrives at 9pm, examines me: 3 cm dilated: ONLY!! I am cross.
Then, maybe after half an hour, my water break. The midwife starts to fill in the pool for me to give birth in (my wish, like for Arthur).
20 minutes later (yes, it is a big pool!!) I get in there and I start pushing. 3 pushes and here is a blue baby.
Marc, automatically says:"welcome Rémi", I ask him if he's sure. For two reasons: 1) is he sure about the sex ( I was pretty sure to have a girl) 2) is he sure about the name (Rémi was my choice).
Yes it is a boy, I had enough time to check when the midwife was trying to get him out of his umbilical cord ( it was around his neck, his belly and his thigh!!)
Yes Marc is sure about the name for the past 3 months (and I was trying to pursued him!)
Here we go, after 1h30 of labour, at 10.30pm, Rémi, Duncan, Gaël is born.
Happy father's day!
Happy birthday my love. Daddy and Mummy love you very much.
