So, we stayed and had a really busy weekend.
The weekend began Thursday afternoon with a visit to the midwife. The baby has its head down, it moves a lot, the heart beats well. All is fine. Then Arthur and I went to his friend Jacob’s 2nd birthday. We saw everybody from our post-natal group. Arthur was completely crazy about Jacob’s Noddy’s drum.
During this time, Marc went to fetch Sabrina who spent the weekend with us.

Friday morning, Marc continued to sand the stairs, while I did some housework on the first floor and Sabrina and Arthur went to have fun in the wind. Arthur came back frozen and exhausted, which enabled us to rest during his 4 hours nap. Obviously when he woke up, we didn’t have much to do but give his bath, eat and sleep again!! We watched “I Think I love my wife” that I really didn’t like.

Saturday, Sabrina left by bus for Reading with Arthur while Marc continued his sanding and me the household (in the ground floor this time). They came back at 2pm, Arthur slept half an hour in the bus and received a birthday present in advance from his aunt, he didn’t have a nap. But he played all the afternoon with his new game all by himself. He loves it.
Towards 5pm, our friends Kaia and HK came from Paris with their daughter Liv. Last time we saw them, Kaia was 8 months pregnant, this summer in Paris. So, we met Liv. By a misunderstanding, we thought that they were going to sleep at home, but they left towards 9pm for Bristol. We were disappointed, but we spent a good moment with them. To comfort us, we watched “August Rush”, very good film.

Sunday, after Arthur’s nap, we went to Olwen to hunt Easter eggs in her garden with a lot of other children. Arthur quickly understood that he has to put his eggs in his bag, but he couldn't see them. We had to help him. He found 8!! I gave him one to him and some little one and I regretted it. After eggs hunting, the children played in the house. There was a two and half year old little boy. Arthur and he didnt stop fighting for the same toy and Arthur screamed or cried each time. All the parents said to me that it was due to the sugar. We went home with a little monster and I couldn't look after him anymore.
He went to bed quickly. And we wached “the best moments of Florence Florezzi” and “The Darjeeling limited” which is a quite odd film.

Monday morning, being disappointed to have seen HK and Kaia only for a little time, we decided to go to Bristol. We joined them with Nick and Liang, then Anna and her little 8 weeks old daughter Layla in a new nice pub. Arthur made a friend Alex who had the same age and who had toys. They did not fight!!
Marc went for a walk with him outside while Layla had her nap on my belly. When they came back Arthur had his right elbow dislocated and suffered a lot. We went to the emergency room, the nurse put back his elbow to place and 5 minutes after he was much better. We were still pretty shocked by the all thing.
To make us feel better, we went to Liang and Nick to join everybody we left at the pub, for an hour.
When we went back home, Marc went to play squash, then he drove Sabrina back.
It was a pretty busy weekend, but it was worth it.

In an other subject, it is our wedding anniversary today, we went to the pub for a romantic lunch. It was quite good, but coming back to work was hard. I had a beautiful bunch of roses which is now on my desk and which embalm the office. I'm lucky!!
