We were pretty busy all the time from beginning of February.

First of all, our weekends were really busy:

- On the weekend of the 2nd-3rd of February, we celebrated Chandeleur with Fiona , Arthur’s childminder, and her daughters, then the next day, we had lunch at Will (a colleague of mine), Claire and Charlotte who we hadn’t seen since Arthur’s birthday!

- On the weekend of the 9th-10th of February, I was expected a quiet weekend at home to celebrate my 30th birthday, but Christelle and Marc decided otherwise. On the Saturday morning, Marc and I went to London to have lunch in a Turkish restaurant to have a one to one celebration while Christelle and Richard were looking after Arthur, but when we came back home at 6pm, half of my family was in the kitchen in the dark!! (Here is the face I pull!)

I wasn’t expected it at all and I would like to thank Christelle to organise it and all the people who came (Papa, Maman, Le none, Vero, Melanie-Dior, Kathia, Pierre-Emmanuel, Song, Christelle, Richard, Marc and of course Arthur who thought the party was for him.)

So, on Saturday evening, we were 9 people to sleep in the house which is still ok, but the next day Stephanie arrived from Paris for lunch!!! A surprise again, I still can’t believe it.

My family left on the Monday, but Steph stayed until the Wednesday, for the party to go on longer. Great!

- On the weekend of the 17th-18th of February,

- le week-end du 17-18 février, Steve and Nikki , our friends from Bristol who moved to Australia 2 and half years ago, came to visit us with their 4 months old boy, Joshua, before to move to USA. We hadn’t seen them in the flesh for 2 and half years and it was great to be together again.

- On the weekend of the 23rd-24th of February, Marie-Salome, Robert and Camille came to celebrate my birthday (again!) Unfortunately, the Wednesday before, I felt on the stairs and hurt badly my cocxis, so I wasn’t in really good shape to host them. Marc took care really well of them.

- On the week end of the 1st-2nd of March, we spent the weekend with Sabrina, to celebrate her 26th birthday. Quiet weekend in family, at last. Arthur played football with his daddy like a real Italian player.

- And at last, this weekend we had Agnes and Ed for dinner on Saturday night. Marc continued sanding the stairs on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, while I was having fun with Arthur. Christelle came for lunch on Sunday and bit Marc at Let’s buy Hollywood !!

Otherwise, our week days are pretty busy too:

- The last week of January, Marc played squash every evening to get ready for a competition taking place in Wallingford on the weekend of the 2nd of February. He finished second of the loser table and received a medal. I am really pride of him.

- Since the 6th of February, I started classes of Aquanatal (aquagym for pregnant women) and I am really pleased.

- The second week of February, we had Stephanie visiting us.

- Marc went to the concert of Justice in Oxford.

- The third week of February, I felt on the stairs and was disable for a week. Marc had to look after everything at home as I could barely walk.

- And at last, last week, we bought some double-glassing windows which will be fitted end of May. I am looking forward to it.

Otherwise, obviously Marc has a lot of work, for me it depend on the week.

The pregnancy is going well, baby is moving a lot and even with the fall on the stairs everything is fine.

Arthur is progressing a lot in speeches. He speaks Italian now and for some words he knows in more than one language, he uses the word in the good language for the good person. For example, he says the word shoe in French and English, he uses the French word for us and the English word for the childminder. I am impressed by him every day as he is repeating everything we say and he starts to use two words together. He is a real cheeky monkey who knows what he wants and we are having a laugh with Marc when he is testing us.

Here we go for this summary of February. March seems to be as busy, but I will try to be more organised. Promise.
