But after spending a week end in Cambridge last year (his wife spent a week end organised by her job), he liked it et thought that visiting his sister in Oxford (the oponant town of Cambridge) wasn't after all impossible.
So, my dear brother and his "small family" (one wife and three children!) came to visit us, now about two weeks ago (it was time I am writing this post!)
Having all these people, change a lot of our routine: fridge constantly full, washing up done straight away, but for Arthur it was a way to have a friend at the park and in the bath.
We spent some lovely relaxing days together.
The Saturday , we had a quite day. Jerome had a nap, the teenagers played football and the others, we went to the park to see Arthur and Iago playing.
In the Sunday morning, I went early to Arthur's friend's birthday party, Elliot. His mum was at the Aquagym with me when we were pregnant. When I came back, I went to have a nap with Arthur while the others went for a pub walk. Arthur and I joined them by car for the Sunday Roast
Monday, I took my day off to be with them (my brother is here, I need to enjoy it!) and we didn't anything special. We relaxed nicely. Marc, Duncan and Arthur went to the swimming pool, Sylvie and I read a book, Yorick played on the computer and Iago and Jerome had a nap.
Tuesday we were back at work for Marc and I, but they went to visite Oxford. In the evening, we went to the "sweet olive" to eat an excelent meal.
Wednesday, they went back to the park where Yorick and Duncan met some kids to play football with!
And Thursday they left to visite London.
I was really happy to see them, they now joined the club of people who came visiting us. I am hoping now they will come back, for the children and Sylvie it's ok, for Jerome maybe not!
