This temple is on an island, surrounding nature is splendid. The site is splendid and the location gives to this temple a size and a charm more important than the other temples. According to the legend, it is in this temple that the body of Osiris was brought back and that Isis resuscitate him. It is a temple for Isis which was accessible for the priests. It sank in the water of the Nile and was saved by UNESCO after the construction of the large dam of Aswan. It was moved to be on the current island. In spite of my discomfort general, I appreciated the site, but the visit appeared quite long to me.
Then we went to a jewellery where I got the earrings which I had ordered on the boat. They are hanging earrings in the shape of cartouche with hieroglyphic signs, on one it wrote Marc and on other Arthur. They are silver coated with gold on the hieroglyphic signs. I find them particularly pretty.
We went back on the boat and with our part of the group, we decided to write a song to Mervat because the evening we have Eastern disguised evening . After lunch, I make a very long nap because I still didn't feel well (moreover I didn't eat a lot). During this time rest of the group worked on the song.
At 3 pm, we left for a strolls in motor boat around the island Elephantine. All is peaceful and the landscape abounds in surprise. We approach islands where normally there are crocodiles, but despite all our driver's efforts , they hide. We finish by a stopover in a typical coffee where crocodiles in breeding are shown. The tea is cold, I was very disappointed. Behind the coffee there is a sand dune. Christelle and the others of the group climbed it. Me, I didn't feel physically able to do it (the less I walked, the better I was).
Then we left at 5pm to be at 6pm at our boat, except that our driver and his two assistants decided to make us take part in a small dance. I danced thirty seconds then I quickly sat down and I took some videos. At one point the three guys sang and danced at the same time, which means that the boat was drifting with the engine turned off. It was cool! Because of that, we arrived late on our boat, but we were nevertheless the first group!
Arrived on the boat, Christelle went for massage appointment while the group was training to sing in our room and that I got ready for the evening (costume I rented in the store on the boat). The meal was Eastern style. Except that I still didn't feel good enough for a full meal, therefore I took only a lent soup which I will regret the effects a few minutes later. But finally I am nevertheless OK for the evening. There is a good atmosphere in our group, we are getting on really well (we are every evening the last table to leave the dining room because the waiters ask us!)
We begin the evening with the group picture with our guide. We sang our song then.
We were the first group to begin the pictures. The second is the group of Ramses and they like enjoying themselves too. We understand quickly that the competition between the two of us is open. The other groups are a little less sharp.
The guides and the waiters organized games to put the groups in competition.
The first game consists in having the most people possible dancing on the stage and when the music stops we should follow the conditions that the organizer gives (example to gather with 4 girls and 3 boys). Those which don't meet the conditions are eliminated. We won this test easily, over 4 people who remain 3 belong to the Akhenaton group.
The second game, we must imitate our guide. It is Marie-Odile who did it, but as she will say it after her imitation, it is impossible to imitate Mervat she is perfect!
The third game implies only men. They had to pass each other two bottles whereas they turn their back to each other. The two people who have the bottle in their hand when the music stops are eliminated. Carlos won this game!
The fourth game implies only women. We are in circle and on the ground there are spoons. When the music stops, a spoon should be caught. The one who doesn't have any is eliminated. Coralie and I went in the final one against the other, but this time they bandage us the eyes. After a long fight, Coralie won. I hurt my knees with this game and still now I have some bruises (because of the medallions on my dress).
The fifth game is a contest of Eastern dance. A person by group must dance in front of everyone. As there is a group which is not present any more in the room, Coralie room and I dance both. It is hard to do it in front of everyone. A girl of the group Les Etoiles won this gane (normal she took courses of belly dance!!)
The sixth game is a game for couple. The man holds a water bottle between his legs with bandaged eyes. The woman sat at the other end of the room with an empty glass between her legs. The man must walk to his wife by listening to her voice and pour water in the glass. It is very funny, but our two couples didn't play well (they laughed too much!)
Then we ended up dancing on disco music. We went to bed at midnight happy to have played well. When we went to bed, we opened the door of our room and we saw that:

We were really scared!!
