Réveil à 7h, il fait très beau et le vent semble être un peu retombé (ça faisait deux jours qu'il y avait du vent).
A 8h départ pour le temple de Karnak.

On pouvait faire la grasse matinée alors j'en ai profité pour dormir jusqu'à 10h. Pendant ce temps là nous passions l'écluse d'Esna et Christelle a pris des photos. Alarm clock at 7am, but I don't feel well. The day before it was Christelle, now it was my turn. Tourist disease not to name the true problem!

For those who read us and were not there for various reasons, let me tell you this weekend which will remain in our memory, hopefully as long as possible (fortunately the pictures are there!)

Debout à 7h, départ pour la vallée des rois à 8h.

This morning we were allowed to have a lay-in, of which I did not deprive myself. Wake up at 9 am, breakfast at 10 and tidying up of the room which has to be empty at 10.30. Because we start our day at 11.30 am, we stayed near the swimming pool (too much cold to bathe). Christelle teached me how to play Rumicube, which is the same principle as Rami , but with pawns like domino or Scrabbles with figures. It's a cool game and I won the two games that we played (beginner luck!)
Then we left for the airport to make a one hour flight in direction of Luxor where our cruising boat waits for us.

After a good night sleep, we still woke up at 7am (who said that it was holiday?) to go to see the pyramids (FINALLY!)

Wake up at 7 by the phone. Big breakfast with all the kind of breakfast (English, continental, Egyptian!!) At 8 am we leave for Cairo in the bus.

After few well deserved hours, we run to go in Surcouf (the French version of PC World) to buy a memory card for my camera ( yes, Marc won't be with me and his laptop!!). Then direction the airport. Comme l'a dit Marc j'ai abandonné mon homme et mon bout de chou pour me payer 10 jours de vacances en Egypte. C'etait fantastique et j'ai plein d'image dans le tête. Comme je veux vous faire partager chaque moment de mon séjour, j'ai décidé d'écrire un journal de bord rétrospectivement jour après jour. Ca fait comme des feuilletons de Dallas journaliers, mais peut être en moins glamour
Donc voilà le résumé de notre première journée:

A quick summary of the Week End and today.

Arthur cough often during the day, it's seems that he has a running nose, which only run inside his throat So sometime he spend 2/3 minutes coughing. Sometime a bit of water hep. I also put a bit of liquid in his nostrils to help, but it's such a fight that I don't do it a lot. In France they use a small pump to clean the nose but I'm sure it be impossible with our specimen. We are already fighting him when we change nappy...

It's a satellite picture of the Vale of Nil in Egypt, no it is not for cultural purpose that I've put it up
But because Marie is on holiday there until the 17th of March, with her friend Christelle (who is also her work colleague and Arthur's babysitter).
